This RFID metal asset tag requires line-of-sight to the RFID reader. Because the tag is designed for metal surfaces, placing another metal object directly on top will block the read. For this reason, the tag does not work on standard tent pipe. It is compatible only with structure tent systems. Please call for details if you are unsure.
