How much does Easy RFID Pro cost overall?
Easy RFID Pro has two cost components: a one-time startup fee that covers your entire first year (hardware, onboarding, training, and 12 months of software and cloud access) and a monthly software subscription after that.
Startup fee: Lite $6,999, Essentials $10,999, Premium $12,999
Monthly subscription (after year one): Lite $79/mo, Essentials $109/mo, Premium $219/mo (based on your first device)

What's the difference between the Lite, Essentials, and Premium plans?
Plans are based on how many RFID items you need to track: Lite supports up to 200 items, Essentials up to 5,000 items, and Premium is unlimited. Higher tiers also include more support and longer hardware warranties (1 year on Lite vs. 3 years on Essentials and Premium).
Premium is also required for two specific use cases: fixed RFID portal systems, and integration with your rental software through one of our integration partners. If either of those applies to your operation, Premium is the plan you'll need regardless of item count.
What happens if I go over my plan's item limit?
You'll need to upgrade to the next tier. Essentials customers approaching the 5,000-item threshold, for example, are notified ahead of their renewal so they can upgrade to Premium before hitting the cap.
How much does an additional scanner cost?
Additional handheld scanners run a little over $2,000 for just the scanner itself, purchased upfront through our Shopify store or via invoice if you'd prefer to order that way. If you're looking to just purchase an additional license, the cost is $89/month. Most customers bundle the scanner with a charging cradle, a 3-year warranty, and the additional device license needed to run the Easy RFID Pro app on the scanner.
For example, a full Janam XR2 bundle, scanner, charging cradle, 3-year warranty, and a one-year license for the app subscription, runs roughly $3,800.
How long until Easy RFID Pro pays for itself?
Most customers see payback on their startup investment within 6 to 12 months, driven by labor savings and reduced shrinkage and delivery errors. Is training included?
Yes. All plans include admin and user training as part of the one-time startup fee. Under the Essentials and Premium plans, admin and user training is unlimited and free for as long as you're a customer, not just during the first year.
Does the price include RFID tags?
Only the Premium plan includes tags (200 tent tags) in the startup package. Tags for other plans are purchased separately, generally $1 to $5 per tag depending on which tag type you go with.
